Yes, washing the dishes is something I try to avoid! But I have to change it.
I am thinking about where to visit. One idea of course is to visit Platina, which I love, but I would also like to go visit Fr. Roman Braga in Michigan. you can see him on this great video:

Yeah "selfishness" does feel natural to us I guess because it is ingrained in us, I was just wondering if it is made worse by our culture. But then again, selfishness is not natural in the sense that we were not created by God to be selfish, but He gave us free will which we misused and brought on the "fallen state" which is unnatural in the "ultimate" sense.
When I posted that last one, I had just been reading some kind of social theory junk and was questioning the idea that selfishness is caused by our society alone, and I was thinking that "selfish societies" are really just institutionalized versions of the evil one's original delusions that he used to trick Adam and Eve with, i.e. "Do what you want for your own gratification first and foremost, then you can be like God".
